Professional Studio
Students get trained in a professional Studio. As an artist we are messy. We just want to create and not worry about ruining the space or encountering limitations. This studio does just that.
In this program students will learn good studio and working habits.
Half of the artists battle is knowing how to work in a studio. They need to learn good working habits and understand/learn how they work individually. This of course takes time working in a studio and learning from being in a studio personally.
For many years I would paint and draw in my bedroom. This space slowly got too small. I needed more space and a place that I cant ruin with art materials. In High School I moved to my dads garage. After high school it was time to get out of my fathers space. I was so grateful for the temporary studio in my dads garage.
Now Raw Art program has a small barn dedicated to studio Space. Thanks to Ken Freed, owner of the space, who has allowed us to create to our hearts desire.
This studio is a great jump start for students that are wanting to pursue the arts and has never had the space to do so. It trains you how to work in a studio.
The goal is to create an safe art community where the students learn problem solving skills and good work habits in a studio.
